Establishing a stable WLAN connection for your SigenStor system is essential for reliable communication with the Sigen Cloud. Using the mySigen App, you can easily connect SigenStor to your home WLAN, ensuring consistent data updates, monitoring, and system management.
Important Note:
If SigenStor is currently using cellular data, we strongly recommend connecting it to your home WLAN as soon as possible. Relying on 4G may lead to data depletion, resulting in potential disconnection from the Sigen Cloud. A stable WLAN connection helps avoid interruptions and enables continuous, seamless operation of your energy system.
Check and Manage Network Connectivity for SigenStor
To view and manage your SigenStor’s network connection, use the Connectivity feature in the mySigen App. Follow these simple steps:
- Go to the Settings Tab: Open the app and navigate to the Settings tab.
- Select Station Settings: Under the Station Settings card, click on More.
- Access the Connectivity Interface: In the Connectivity section, you can view the current network status, including the type of network being used.
This feature makes it easy to monitor and manage SigenStor’s network connection, ensuring uninterrupted communication with the Sigen Cloud.
Connecting SigenStor to WLAN
To connect SigenStor to your preferred WLAN network, follow these steps:
- Open mySigen App.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap the … (More) icon above the SigenStor Settings Card.
- Tap Connectivity.
- Select WLAN. On the WLAN page, choose the network you want to connect to and enter the password to establish a connection.
Important Note:
If SigenStor is currently connected only via WLAN, switch it to an Ethernet or cellular network first before connecting to a new WLAN network. This ensures continuous connection with the Sigen Cloud.
